Emory Johns Creek Hospital needed more imaging area within their existing hospital by utilizing space more effectively. Frandsen with Emory designed a new Breast Imaging Center of Excellence in the attached medical office building so that space could become available right inside the imaging department once those modalities moved. This allowed for the design of a second new CT room with control and two new ultrasound rooms. These rooms were designed with the latest imaging techniques and the finishes were updated to be more inviting. This project was a great example on how a hospital can create space right within the existing hospital.
